This is a must visit place.
Easy walk from the carport.
The water is crystal clear.
Take care when walking over the smooth rocks in the water as there is moss growing on them.
Around 1hr 40 minute drive from Darwin on good sealed roads with lots to see on the way
We always enjoy a trip out to Buley Rockhole.
It's always clean, plenty places to swim, the BBQ firepits are great for cooking lunch, plenty shady spots to sit under, and the kids love jumping off the rocks.
I think it would just need a few more tables, and a more accessible route for wheelchairs/walking disabilities, and people dragging the coolers/eskis, as it doesn't really cater for unable bodies or ones who get the take the chilly bin down.
All in all, a fantastic day out with the family of all ages if you can get down there of course.
Stunning place for a swim. Ancient river bed with natural holes carved into the rock by water for millions of years. Alot of fish. Alot of tourists at peak times. Water was very refreshing. Lots of wildlife to see. Lots of rocks to jump off into deep water. Some pools where more than 3 meters deep.
Beautiful place for all ages to have a swim. The cascading water is quite the site to see and allows people to swim in a variety of areas. The car park is very large and also has toilets and taps (not drinking water). It does get very busy so the earlier you arrive the better.
Last time we came during dry season, this time closer to wet season and the water was flowing well. There were plenty of spots to sit in, rocks are slippery so be careful .
This place a so so good for a picnic or swim so picturesque just a beautiful spot to sit in the cool water just don't go on a public holiday as it is a very popular place
Another beautiful place to visit and have a refreshing swim. Easy walk from the carport to the water. Some small water falls to see and picnic areas.
Nice rock holes that you can jump in, swim and enjoy natures beauty
